New Year Concert in Celebration
of a New Festival in the Art Palace
Bartók Béla National Concert Hall

Festival – Foundation
An exceptional gala concert welcomes those ambitious entrepreneurs who are interested in classical music and opera. Merely by purchasing ticket to this concert, our audience becomes foundational members of a new and unique opera festival, which starts its operation with the support of the most prestigious classical music television channel of the world. Not only the originality of the concept of the festival, which will be announced on the concert for the first time, 6 months earlier than its official press conference, makes this festival extraordinary. The financing of the festival is also unusual and surely meets spirit of our age: the festival operates exclusively on a commercial base, it does not ask for and does not accept public money, it is completely subsidized by the audience and the private sphere, as, in our view, this is the most – and the only – justified market operation in our days.

Naturally, the founding members will later enjoy privileges on the festivals; for instance, the name of each foundational member will be inscribed into a marble panel, exhibited every year during the festival.
