Róbert Alföldi – Café Les Deux Magots, Paris – 2002

Róbert Alföldi’s second exhibition in France was organized by Armel Production in Paris. This was already an independent exhibition of the artist, in which paintings were exhibited between October 22 and November 5, 2002 at Café Les Deux Magots, one of the most famous and prestigious literary coffee houses in Paris. The exhibiting space, exceedingly popular among French artists, provides a unique atmosphere for paintings which evoke the late 19th century.
Muriel Marland-Militello, the Parliament representative of the Alpes-Maritimes region, the Cultural Committee member of the International Syndecate opened the exhibition. On the exhibition opening, Anne Bacquet sang chansons evoking the same atmosphere as the paintings, and Marc Berthumiex accompanied on accordion.
